POST-DOCTORAL FELLOW (FORMULATIONS)

CPI is led by an experienced management team with expertise in bringing novel pharmaceuticals from the bench to patients. 


Job Summary:

CPI is hiring a highly motivated post-doctoral fellow (PDF) with expertise in formulation development. The PDF will perform research related to the development of small molecule nanoparticulate formulations as vaccines and/or therapeutics. The PDF will prepare, characterize, troubleshoot, and optimize nanoformulations for in vitro and in vivo applications at various scales. The PDF is required to keep up-to-date and accurate laboratory notes and data files. The PDF is expected to analyze and interpret results independently as well as in a team environment through regular group discussions. The PDF is expected to maintain familiarity with the scientific knowledge and advancements within the scope of the company’s research area.

Qualifications:

  • PhD in pharmaceutical sciences, pharmacology, biochemistry or a related field

  • Demonstrated expertise in formulation development from preparation to characterization and scaling up for preclinical studies

  • Experience performing standard analytical assays relevant to formulation characterization (e.g. absorption and fluorescence spectrometry, chromatographic separations, atomic absorption spectroscopy, etc.)

  • Knowledge or experience with planning and analyzing in vivo studies

  • Efficient time management skills and ability to work on multiple projects

  • Ability to master new techniques quickly

  • Ability to work well independently as well as with others

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
